In the autumn Culture Shock Foundation starts another medialab workshops. A cycle of workshops ofered by us is an ambitious experiment, a precedent on a national scale and a huge challenge. This time, two groups will work together to create a mobile application in the area of culture, which will be made available free of charge to all residents of Warsaw and tourists. The project of the application will be jointly established basing on interests and issues important to our participants. Scenarios of meetings will be written in a way, that young people could invent and create a concept of the application by themselves.
Participants of the project – divided into 2 technology teams – will work on individual components of the application: graphics, content and programming. All participants will get to know the possibilities of mobile devices as well as learn practical tips for creating content for these devices – the possibilities of mobile applications, market segmentation, different platforms and devices, all in the context of creating cultural content. The project will end with an open event summary, during which participants will present the results of their work.
The workshops were led by Paulina Jędrzejewska and Sylwia Żółkiewska (Mobile Application – 9 meetings), Kamil Wdowczyk (Game Maker – 1 meeting) and Mateusz Telega (Reaper – 1 meeting).
