Volunteers from Culture Shock Foundation participated in a training course “Dare to Act – A Practical Guide for Youth Participation” realized in Georgia from October 25th to October 31st 2013. They learnt how to organise local activities and encourage youth to participate in them.
This is how they presented our Foundation during NGO presentation:
This training brought together youth workers, representatives of youth organizations, young leaders and active young people from 8 countries: Norway, Georgia, Armenia, Czech Republic, Azerbaijan, Italy, Republic of Moldova and Poland.
The training course was supposed to promote the involvement of young people in local activities and help them to increase initiatives dealing with youth issues. The training’s goal was to raise competencies and instill skills around active youth participation, empowerment and involvement of young people, as well as for the creation of local youth initiatives.
The expected outcomes of the training were trained youth workers, young leaders and people willing and able to set up new creative local youth initiatives on issues of local concerns in their home communities (particularly concerning the rights for youth in the EU).
